Assessment:
One 4,000 word essay: 45%*
One in-class essay: 15%
One presentation based on research for essay: 15%
(75% of total mark)
Attendance and Contribution**: 25% of total mark.
*You will be expected to work on the 4,000 word essay for the duration of the course. Supervision will be provided by both tutors at regular intervals throughout the course. These supervisions are compulsory.
** The mark you attain for Attendance and Contribution is a significant part of your overall result. Please understand that full attendance will not result in full marks; you are expected to participate in and contribute to class discussions.
